1. Determine Result Arcana: The Arcanas of the two source Personas are combined according to a fixed chart to determine the resulting Persona’s Arcana.
2. Calculate Base Level: The average of the two source Personas’ base levels is taken, and 1 is added to the result (the game always rounds down).
   
   Result Level = floor((Persona1.Level + Persona2.Level) / 2) + 1
3. Find Result Persona: The game searches within the determined Result Arcana for the first Persona whose base level is equal to or higher than the calculated Result Level.

Example 1: Basic Fusion

Let’s say a player wants to fuse Jack-o’-Lantern (Magician Arcana, Level 2) and Apsaras (Priestess Arcana, Level 11).

• Calculation:
  • Magician + Priestess = Strength Arcana.
  • Average Level = floor((2 + 11) / 2) + 1 = floor(6.5) + 1 = 7.
  • The game searches for a Strength Persona at or above level 7. The first one it finds is Kelpie (Level 6) being lower, the next is Shiisaa (Level 16). So, Shiisaa is the result.

Example 2: Same-Arcana Fusion

Fusing two Personas of the same Arcana works differently. It results in a Persona of the same Arcana, but of a lower rank. For instance, if you fuse Arsene (Fool, Level 1) and High Pixie (Fool, Level 16).

• Inputs: Persona 1: Arsene, Persona 2: High Pixie
